With the continued popularity of the iPad as a productivity tool we have often wondered when/if Microsoft would every offer their Office suite of tools to iPad users as an alternative to Apples iWork, well judging by this screen shot MS have something in the works.The photo, which shows a purported Microsoft Office app for iPad start up screen, was originally posted by Peter Ha over at the daily.
Peter claims that he and his team of writers have been chasing the news of MS Office app for iOS devices for weeks and only now have enough proof to break the story.
Microsoft, on the other hand have gone on the record saying that the image doesn’t show the ‘real product’ but doesn’t deny that Office is in the works, and that this could very well be an early test version (so yes it isn’t the ‘real product’)
